MARINA GEORGIEVA
Marina Georgieva is an expert in communications and public relations in the field of nature conservation and ecological tourism.
Marina has worked on international projects of leading environmental organizations in Bulgaria and has extensive experience in the design and implementation of communication strategies and plans, organizing communication and public events, working with media and building publicity and visibility of results, development and promotion of tourism products and packages, preparation and distribution of printed promotional materials.
PAVEL GOSPODINOV
Pavel Gospodinov is a project manager in the NGO / International Development sector; specialist in digital communications and marketing; photographer.
Pavel has proven experience in project management, concept development, project monitoring and evaluation, as well as the overall coordination of the project cycle, including management of personnel and finances. Pavel has over 10 years of experience in management, monitoring and advising on major projects funded by donors such as the UNDP, the Global Environment Facility, the European Commission and state -funded programs.
Pavel also has extensive experience in the development, implementation and management of digital strategies and projects related to digital communications and experience in projects related to information technology.
Pavel is a photographer and video operator with several projects behind in the field of documentary photography and digital presentations.
DIMITER GEORGIEV
Dimiter Georgiev is an expert with extensive experience in developing plans and strategies for the development of eco-tourism and visitor centers and facilities, forest management, restoration and management of wetlands, biodiversity conservation and wildlife.
Dimiter has managed teams of strategic international projects for biodiversity conservation and development of management plans for protected areas in North-eastern Bulgaria.
Dimiter is the author of management plans for three internationally important protected areas on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast: Durankulak Lake, Shabla Lake Complex and Kamchiya Reserve. He has numerous scientific publications related to the study, conservation and management of biodiversity valuable natural areas.
Temenuga Triffonova is an expert in educational activities in the field of nature conservation and environmental protection. She has worked on international projects of leading environmental organizations in Bulgaria and has extensive experience in the design and implementation of educational strategies and plans, organizing educational initiatives and events, project development and others.
Temenuga Triffonova is a professor of chemistry at the Medical University – Varna and expert – chemist at the Clinic of Nuclear Medicine, University Hospital “St. Marina”. Active member of the Wildlife Conservation Society and its Chair since its establishment to March 2014.
Hristo Gurdov is an experienced biologist, who has participated in numerous ornithological field research and conservation projects. As a field expert in monitoring bird migration and breeding, Hristo has contributed to the preparation of management plans for protected areas, as well as to a number of scientific publications with practical conservation purposes.
Hristo is qualified in occupational medicine and occupational safety. He has aquired higher biological education at Sofia University “St. Kl. Ohridski”. Active member of the Wildlife Conservation Society since its inception and board member of the Society and since March 2014.
Simeon Gigov is an experienced ecologist, ornithologist and bird tour leader. He has participated in numerous ornithological field research and conservation projects, such as the establishing of the Natura 2000 network in northwestern Bulgaria, monitoring of the wintering population of the Red-breasted Goose in Bulgaria, mid-winter waterfowl count, common bird monitoring in Bulgaria and others. With his experience and expertise as an ornithologist, Simeon has contributed to the preparation of a number of scientific publications with practical conservation focus.
Simeon has a bachelor degree in tourism management and interest in wildlife photography, trekking and sports.
